We are a community of #3dprinters using maker tech to solve real world problems. Currently developing designs for crisis medical equipment. All help welcomed!
When C-19 hit the UK in March 2020 a #makermovement called 3D Crowd started (with 8000 volunteers in the space of 4 weeks) and went on to produce over 385,000 pieces of PPE for hospitals. Today our volunteers work on projects for #crisiszones and bespoke #goodcauses.
Thank you to the 3D Crowd community who worked so hard to get PPE to where it was needed last year. 8000 volunteers and 2500 printers working 24/7 to answer the call for help.
You were incredible.
You are appreciated.
Thank you. 💙

It has been a year since 3D Crowd became a thing. We are spending the next few days reflecting on what our 8,000 volunteers did. THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered their time, money, 3d printers to help frontline workers when they needed it most! ❤️
