Trois ans après le triomphe planétaire de Moon Safari (1998), le duo versaillais livre un deuxième album souvent rebaptisé "The Dark Side of the Moon Safari". Avec l’immense "10 000 Hz Legend", les Electronic Performers Jean-Benoît Dunckel et Nicolas Godin mettent en musique tous leurs fantasmes, entre péplum rock et pop futuriste. Paru le 28 mai 2001, "10 000 HZ Legend", chef-d’œuvre visionnaire de la discographie de Air, fête aujourd’hui ses 25 ans.
