Sisters of the Sister Anthony O'Connell Auxiliary, Dept of Ohio are very impassioned about supporting the female veterans at the VA Center in Dayton. This picture is a baby shower for one of the veterans. She was pregnant with her 3rd child and had never had a baby shower before.
What does the ASUVCW do? Some of the things we are involved with are to honor those who fought to save the Union and to support Veterans. Here is a picture of the C.K. Badge Auxiliary #4, Department of Wisconsin delivering donuts to veterans at the Milwaukee VA Center.
The last Sunday in September is designated as Gold Star Mother's Day. Today, while we cannot imagine their pain, we celebrate their resilience and thank them for their sacrifices. May your loved ones rest in peace. They are heroes!
ASUVCW National President Wanda Langdon and LGAR National President Judy Baron attended a Department of Ohio DUVCW District meeting in Mt Cory Ohio. 3 branches of the Allied Orders had a great time together.
