Edwards has indeed been sacked and found out via social media. Understand he had a meeting with senior figures at the club on Friday to plan more summer signings. Strange and shambolic from #Wolves.

If Edwards is to be replaced he is seemingly unaware but there have been a few rumblings in recent weeks. Timing would be very weird even by Wolves's standards.

People ask me about Rogers… so I write one piece on him (today) with lots more detail and information and now I’m apparently writing too much… yesterday’s piece was a small section on Rogers as part of a bigger piece about the squad generally… I get it that Villa fans don’t want to hear about a player leaving, but it’s only one piece based exclusively on him and it’s valid… lots of noise around him!
