7amleh has joined a coalition calling on states and technology companies to halt the use and provision of AI systems for military targeting and kill chains.
The statement raises serious concerns about the growing deployment of AI-powered surveillance, target generation systems, and large language models in warfare, warning that these technologies risk facilitating unlawful harm, obscuring accountability, and enabling violations of international humanitarian and human rights law.
At a time when AI is increasingly shaping conflict and military decision-making, stronger safeguards, transparency, and accountability are urgently needed.
