Day two of the official visit of the Secretary-General of the AfCFTA, H.E. Wamkele Mene, to Tunisia: a high-level dialogue with the Tunisian private sector at the Export Promotion Centre (CEPEX), preceded by a meeting with the Minister of Trade and Export Promotion. The Secretary-General's message to business was clear: it is their engagement, not the signature of States alone, that makes the AfCFTA commercially meaningful. The first task? Identifying markets — those in Africa to which Tunisia can export, and those from which it can import. Tunisian products reaching Africa, and African products reaching Tunisia.
