NAV CANADA can confirm that it experienced a technical issue with the system that processes flight plans earlier today. Back up procedures were in place to process flight plans, and a temporary traffic management initiative was implemented in YYZ. The issue has since been resolved. The backlog is gradually being cleared as we work with airport and airline partners to keep traffic moving safely and efficiently.
