Someone recently told me, when dealing with absolute grief, that if you can make it through an entire year of seasons, it will start to get a little easier. I understood her sentiment completely because I wrote an entire album about it. I just need to listen to it again and remember.

To all the super Moms who continue to show up, every day, reaching for their best selves. Through grief, pain, fear and vulnerability, I pray that you remember how important it is for your children to see you as human, as imperfect and as fragile, too. We will show them that true love begins in accepting the weaknesses in others. Happy Mother's Day to the one behind all of the best memories we have. Go Moms! 🏁

Ryan woke up last night from a bad dream and said "can we go home now?" We left everything for this land. This year has been equal parts magic and madness. Stomping out fear for faith. Such gratitude to be able to show my daughter that with hard work, your dreams can be yours, and with determination, and patience, this soil will give so much back to us. I'll never forget these quiet, humble and muddy moments. One day closer to handing in our building application.. counting the hours, now.
