Hall is asking Fontenot to confirm if Hadnot was previously convicted and sentenced for armed robbery. He said he was. Washington has asked for a conference at the judge’s bench.
“You found DNA at the scene? You tracked the car back to his place?” Prosecutor Lea Hall asks Fontenot during redirect. “Did you ever find anything to exonerate him (Hadnot)?”
“I did not,” Fontenot replies.
“Just because a pin was sent to Tom, Dick or Harry doesn’t mean Tom, Dick or Harry showed up at the scene. But I can tell you who was there,” Fontenot tells Hadnot’s attorney.
“No other cars passed down the street. There was a gentleman inside the house who heard Ruidy yell ‘No, no, no.’ He didn’t go outside for fear if he went out the door he would be shot. There is video from next door. No one planted anything,” Fontenot tells Washington.
