pairing doesn't always save time (sometimes it adds it tbh) but it does unlock the value you get from close collaboration with smart colleagues.
Pairing Sessions: Born from Xtreme Programming and @vmwaretanzulabs, two people (client consultant) doing the work together live (same code, database, automated email platform, etc…). Less talking about the work and more doing it together. partandsum.com/blog/two-head…

I support prioritizing care workers to get more women at work and improve our economy. But this take on being in the office is narcissistic - just because your early years were all lunch at Pret and drinks at Raines doesn't mean others need that to find professional success.
