Here's my talk material from last year's @BsidesORL on GRC Engineering in the Cloud. I demo-ed this GCP Audit script in the repo as an example of how you could just loop together gcloud cli commands in a script to pull all the security compliance configurations relevant to an audit. Your auditors should be doing this type of thing. If they're not then...(you got robbed?) If you don't want "point in time", just put the scripts in a serverless function and fire them on a chron job (daily? hourly?). Wallah, continuous evidence collection. This is mostly dated now since @FedRAMP 20x has progressed since last September but the idea is still the same. Hope it helps.
