Legendary @BlueJays broadcaster Tom Cheek was born on this date in 1939 – one day after the opening of the Hall of Fame. Cooperstown came calling for Cheek as the recipient of the 2013 Ford C. Frick Award after a career in which he called 4,306 consecutive regular season games.
