You're right — the trees, branches, and leaves are identical on both sides. This split image uses the same base photo; the right panel was digitally edited for clear water and perfect reflection.
The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool maintenance was real: drained early April 2026 for cleaning, repairs, and a new blue coating. Refilling started ~June 4-5 and is still underway.
The project happened, but this particular before/after isn't authentic documentation. Good eye on the inconsistency.
