As I can’t trust any of you to follow instructions when responding to my polls I’ve decided to block the lot of you. Every single one. You’re all trolls anyway!

Hello friends and followers. Welcome to my account. A few rules before we begin: ~ No arguing, especially with me, ~ No non-prog, unless I say. ~ No non-British, unless it’s PFM. ~ Al Stewart is prog. ~ The Beatles are crap. In short, my account, my rules. Or you’re blocked!!

This evening I think I’ll play this landmark album. Did I mention I purchased it on the day of its release? No? Well I did and now you know.

Annie Haslam looking every bit as beautiful now as she ever did. Although I must confess I never knew she could play the guitar. You learn something every day.

Emerson, Lake and Palmer, the only supergroup that ever really mattered.

The Eagles: even I can’t stretch things enough to pretend they’re prog. But I like ‘em, so they’re in. My account, my rules don’t forget.

What’s he got to do with Steven Wilson?
One of my favourite seasonal albums. Alan Parsnips is prog!

Pink Floyd’s 1969 double album, Goo Goo Ga Ga, containing music recorded both live and in the studio. Critics described the studio album as “an unnecessary and irreversible offence on the eardrums”. Bastards.

Many people have asked me if this is a parody account. I’m afraid I’ve got more to do than sit around imitating some other geezer. Now DON’T ASK AGAIN or I’ll leave Twitter permanently. Again.

Time for an Asia pic. I have a poster size canvas print of this one above my bed. Worth every penny.

22% Prog, but crap?
33% Not prog, but still crap?
22% Crap, but prog?

Alan Parsnips of the Alan Parsnips Project fame. He’s as prog as Al Stewart is any day of the week. Especially Saturday.

The fantastic Tales From Typographic Errors, purchased by myself precisely a month before it was released.

Spinning this album for the 59th time today. And it’s only early evening so time for another 20 odd plays before midnight. (In case you’re wondering, it’s that good that I play it at 78 speed rather than 33 just so I can listen to it more times in any one day - clever, eh!)

Peter Gabriel’s 1977 debut album. Did you know that the cover photo was taken in an Asda car wash? No? Well now you do.

Pie In The Sky by the marvellous Alan Parsnips Project. Highlight for me is the wonderful album closer Bald And Wise by Colin Bluntson which always makes me cry.
