A historic World Cup debut for Brooklyn’s own Folarin Balogun. 🇺🇸⚽️ The USMNT striker scored twice in the United States’ 4-1 opening-match victory over Paraguay at SoFi Stadium, becoming the first American player to score multiple goals in a World Cup match since Bert Patenaude in 1930. The four-goal performance was also the highest-scoring World Cup game in U.S. men's national team history.
