Such a high standard of submissions at @burnhambookfest competitions, so I bought the anthology. I've been reading extracts out loud to my friends. I love this winning poem called Flightless, from one of the younger age catagory winners.

Years 4 and 6 had the pleasure of meeting author Alex Cotter for a writing workshop, sponsored by Burnham Book Festival. They took part in a Q & A session followed by an opportunity to show their writing ideas. Alex also signed books for those children who bought one.
