I'm glad you're mentioning that. It has been now nearly 3 years that the community behind
@OrdiMutants have been onboarding and helping new members through Spaces on X every day and yet not one Ordinal whale have the balls to mention them anywhere or sweeping the floor. But that's ok, we will carry on.
i understand the instinct to protect ordinals from bad actors, grifters, and people who have burned the space before.
thatβs fine. call out bad behavior when you see it.
but at some point, you have to ask yourself, what are you building that is soooooo good?
an atop that, how are you talking about it that is sooooo attractive to collectors and traders on the timeline to actually come here?
if your timeline is just calling people gay, retarded, idiots, scammers, and posting angry rants all day, who exactly are you attracting?
do you think a talented founder, artist, developer, collector, or investor looks at that and says, βyeah, thatβs where i want to spend my time and moneyβ?
ordinals is decentralized. nobody gets to decide who belongs here.
but it is also a place where people park capital, build businesses, launch products, create art, and take risks.
if all youβre doing is gatekeeping and using vitriolic language all day sounding like a grumpy cunt, eventually the gate is all you have left.
the question isnβt who youβre keeping out.
the question is who youβre bringing in.
whatβs attractive about what youβre building?
what makes someone want to join your corner of the ecosystem?
what value are you creating besides criticism?
be known for something more than who youβre against.
build something people actually want to be part of.
