RIP Coach Johnny Coefield. Coach Coefield left a lasting impact on high school athletics throughout North Florida. A former FAMU High School and Rickards coach, he was also instrumental in helping launch 4Quarters Online, providing a much needed voice for prep sports across the region. Through his efforts, preseason media days became a staple in Tallahassee and Panama City, helping showcase countless student athletes, coaches, and programs. His passion for high school sports, commitment to telling the stories of young athletes, and dedication to his community will not be forgotten. The Florida Coaches Coalition extends its deepest condolences to Coach Coefield's friends, family, loved ones, and all those whose lives he touched. His contributions to Florida high school athletics will continue to be felt for years to come. Rest easy, Coach.
