Given recent developments on this website, I'd like to point people to my own website, where I'll be posting in-depth about my work and writing about creative coding & interactive installations. Whatever happens here, I'll be owning my content over there. cacheflowe.com

13 years ago after Apple killed Flash, web devs were in a years-long limbo, not really being able to deploy 3d graphics on the web. This was the transition between Flash and WebGL's wide adoption. Shoutout to Papervision3d & @mrdoob 🥲

I'm streaming a preview of a newly-commissioned site-specific real-time generative work that's launching soon. I've never streamed before, so hopefully this works :) twitch.tv/cacheflowe_

I don't have permission to talk about most of my client projects over the last couple of years. With that said, and apropos of absolutely nothing, here's a fun lil video clip I found on the internet.

I've logged in for the first time in 6 months because I saw that inactive accounts might get deleted. Here's a music/light/graphic experiment from my studio. Find me elsewhere 👋

Upon logging in, Twitter forced me to remove 2FA, unless I give El*n money... What kind of self-destructive policy is that? You want more people getting hacked? Never mind that I immediately added an authenticator app as a different 2FA method. This place is broken in every way.

Now is a good time to consider how embarassing/shameful this site is and make an exit plan. I have lots of things to post, but it feels immoral to do it here - I don't want to contribute to El*n's "success". Logging back out for now. Find me at my website or on 🐘

Anyways Trump tried to overthrow the government and to get his Vice President lynched using that account. Reinstating it, especially in this slapdash dipshit way, is an invitation from the owner to use this platform to organize violence.

Twitter and its new owner are straight up embarrassing

8 years ago I co-founded Ello - a social network that got a lot of attention for a few weeks. We tried hard, and it became pretty good, despite a major expectation mismatch with incoming users. Watching this guy torch his $44b company is truly something to witness 🍿
I muted the now-owner of this godforsaken website a while back, and the inescapable reality of seeing what he's doing/saying is worse than I thought possible. He's an absolute child. Any veneer of him being a genius is utterly laughable at this point. Beyond embarassing. 🐘👋

I'm just an average software developer who's been involved in multiple fairly-successful businesses. I've left a trail of happy clients and good relationships. It boggles my little brain that someone with such cosmic-scale inadequacies can ascend to such a position.

But as we see with the last US president, someone who's so ill-equipped & terrible can gain support of people who have even fewer faculties... The last several years have really shaken my faith in humanity. I want him to fail hard & don't care if this site goes away 🤞

This is probably the first Carmack tweet that could've been my own. Validation 🤗😭 If you've installed any modern ML tools on Windows, you can surely relate.

I had a miserable time updating pytorch with conda on windows. The final solution involved manually copying two dlls.
