Here is a note from Wilsonville Garden Club about their recent visit. Yes, #NWREC research is very broad and that is why it is programmatically the most diverse ag research center in Oregon. Public engagement is very important for all of us and we are glad they got to visit us.

We will miss you dearly, @berriesGood4U! 😢
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Bernadine Strik, who over a 30 year career at OSU developed a world-renowned berry crops research, Extension and teaching program. She was a marvelous colleague, mentor and friend to so many. She will be greatly missed. @ORagriculture

#MyTwitterAnniversary Thirteen years ago, I claimed digital real estate on Twitter in the name of calveggies and calstrawberries, and successfully used these accounts for my research outreach. I was thinking if I should continue on Twitter. My boss says I should, so I will. :-)
