Rode Blue Ridge Pkwy south to Buchanan and then headed west on RT-43 to Eagle Rock. Cornered by a storm. Second half of the day rained out.
About to hit Blue Ridge Pkwy. Overcast now. Hopefully we'll avoid any big storms.
Finished the day and night riding through the Shenandoah Nat'l Park. Amazing ride. Got wet but skirted most of the rain. 445 miles today.
On US-340 S. 273 miles down.
Crossed the Potomac River and briefly entered WV before crossing back to MD. About an hour to go before getting to Shenandoah Nat'l Park.
Historic detour. Quick stop at the Gettysburg Nat'l Military Park. About 210 miles down.
Quick rest and map check in York, PA. Went through Reading, Lancaster, and now headed down US-30W to Gettysburg.
