Today marks 10 years since the Pulse tragedy. It's hard to believe it's been a decade since the lives of 49 people - with their own goals and dreams - were taken. Although time has passed our community continues to send love to their families, survivors and each person impacted.

Today marks the start of an exciting journey for Orlando Police Academy Class BLE 26-01. Recruits were welcomed by Orlando Police Training Center staff, who shared words of encouragement, guidance, and insight as the class begins its training. Throughout the academy, these future officers will receive the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience needed to prepare for a career in law enforcement. We wish Class BLE 26-01 success as they begin their training and take the first steps toward serving the Orlando community. 🚔

Swimming safe this summer! 😎 90 kids took part in our first swim lesson session at the Smith Neighborhood Center & Pool. Teaming up with @OrlandoPolice & @OrlandoFireDept, we're hosting free introductory swim lessons every Saturday this month to teach water safety.

This will be a difficult week for many in Orlando and beyond as Friday marks 10 years since the Pulse tragedy. Although time has passed, our city will continue to respond will compassion and unity while offering love to the families of the 49, survivors and all those impacted.

In recognition of Pride Month, we're adding more color to @LakeEolaPark with a newly rainbow-wrapped swan boat. We hope it brings a little extra joy and serves as a reminder that we are, and always will be, Orlando United.
