Just met @will_groover about his microplot data. I'm amazed that inoculation with our root bacteria has the same effect on nematodes in bermudagrass as a nematicide. These data and other work from @auburnturf are building a good case for 'organic' management of root pests of turf

Rolling gives turf a break from mowing, firming the green, smoothing the playing surface, and speeding it up. It can also compact it, especially in clay soils. Avoid rolling #turf stressed from heavy play, heat, disease, low-mowing heights, overwatering, and/or high inputs.
