Use contractions when you write. "Don't" rolls off the tongue. "Do not" is choppier. 90% of the time, smoother is better.

Writing Tip: Start stories in the middle or at the end. "I become a writer in 2012." is a weak intro. "My blog generated $1.3 million in 2022" is much stronger. Start at the middle/end, then continue with the beginning. You'll hook more people that way.
