Another thing to chew on: Because the SSAA is now requiring football teams to be a member with them and also the fact that their schedule policy is changing here in 2024 with going to a full 10-game season before playoffs, schools that are part of the SSAA will not be able to carry dual membership with the FHSAA in football. As such, some of the teams we have heard or seen announced about going to the SSAA might be having second thoughts because their schools do not want to be paying for a per sport membership to be a part of the FHSAA. For some schools it might be beneficial, but for others that won't be the case at all. #flhsfb
