DVA delivered its seasoned training on " Social Democracy and Civic Participation" module with Cohort XIII volunteers by Catherine Yange
She enlightened the volunteers around the history of social democracy, its core tenets, and the critical role of civic participation.

Again, On Saturday, 16th May 2026, the volunteers put the Facilitation Techniques module into practice. Each participant facilitated an assigned Behavioural competence topic, helping to sharpen their facilitation skills.

On Friday, 15th May 2026, Cohort XIII volunteers were introduced to the concept of Advocacy in Development. The facilitator, Doo Tyoachimin, ensured participants understood the different forms and types of advocacy, also effective strategies to achieve targeted goals

@DevTrainNg joins the global observance of International Day of the Boy Child (May 16).
Beyond awareness, we advocate for mentorship, emotional safety, and skills-based guidance. Boys need role models and career pathways to break cycles of misdirection and harm.

DVA Cohort XIII had Work-Life Balance with Tiza Agoh, arming participants with practical strategies for a sustainable balance that doesn’t harm other areas of life. Volunteers learned how to work smarter, prioritize self-care & boldly say “no” when needed.
