Our wonderful friends and past makers at the Irish Patchwork Society are celebrating their 45th anniversary with a special exhibition in the Botanical Gardens, running until 23rd August. The showcase features an incredible array of pieces, all inspired by the theme “Echoes.”
ALT A row of six colourful textile artworks hangs on a white gallery wall. Each quilt has a distinct style, including abstract trees in purples and greens, blue and yellow geometric shapes, warm-toned angular architecture, musical motifs on yellow, rows of multicoloured circles, and a cube pattern design.
ALT Seven rectangular quilts hang side by side on a white wall, each with different patterns: abstract red and green shapes, light blue paisley motifs, multicoloured hexagons, a gradient of squares, an ocean scene, and circular planet like designs. A wooden cabinet sits below with small textile samples laid on top.
