Angela Rayner has rattled them with her 'scum' comment. John Prescott could have called the tories scum on a daily basis but it never made the news, and if it did Blair would laugh it off. Northern tory voters know they had to hold their noses last time to teach Labour a lesson.

#COP26 back in the 80s the Conservative Government went to war with the miners, destroying many communities. We suggested they could invest in alternative sustainable energy industries in those communities. We were dismissed as idealistic anarchists and hippies.

Looks like everyone had a ZX Spectrum back in the day? In reality they were a bit expensive, and most kids didn't even have their own telly to plug them in to. I recall not alot of northern kids having one. We had to share school micros to learn BASIC.
