An NIHR-funded study tested the use of drones to deliver defibrillators as part of emergency simulations 🚨
Experts from @uniofwarwick teamed up with @WelshAmbulance and @skyboundrescuer to trial the use of drones to deliver defibrillators to suspected cardiac arrests. The next stage will be funding larger studies to test the technology and evaluate whether it can be used in the NHS.
