🇱🇧 Solidarity with Lebanese workers amid renewed escalation We express our solidarity with Lebanese workers and their families as renewed Israeli military attacks deepen the humanitarian, social and economic crisis in their country. ⚠️ The ITUC is deeply concerned by reports of civilian casualties and damage to homes, public services and infrastructure and reiterates that these can never be targeted. 🕊️ The ITUC reiterates its call for an immediate end to military actions that endanger civilians, respect for international humanitarian law and human rights, and unrestricted humanitarian access for affected populations. 🤝 The international trade union movement stands with Lebanese workers in their call for peace, social justice and recovery.
