Microplastics have officially been found in human breast milk for the first time in a new study that detected the contaminant in 75% of the samples tested after we also found microplastics inside the lungs and crossing the blood-brain barrier. This is our generation's lead paint.

The March Against Depicting Clowns As Creepy is still happening tonight at dusk at the edge of the woods near the abandoned lunatic asylum. The calliope we rented is out of tune but we plan to play it anyway.

my therapist told me i was a perfectionist and i told her that can’t be true because if i was i would be more successful and then we just kind of sat in silence for a minute and pondered what i had said

#Bobcats are back in #Ohio and our research shows they're here to stay (with proper management 🙂)! My dissertation research for the #OUstudentExpo w/ @ohiodnr has focused on developing a population viability analysis #PVA for Ohio's bobcats. @BobcatsDiscover @OUGradSenate

Look at this handsome fella! Turns out tree lizards (Urosaurus ornatus) are pretty personable! My research is focused on assessing behavioral variation in these guys and testing how rising temperatures might impact behavioral expression #OUStudentExpo @BobcatsDiscover

My dissertation work is on the Cumberland Plateau salamander, Plethodon kentucki. It’s a cute woodland salamander in what’s called the slimy salamander species complex. (Yes, they can get very slimy when scared) #OUStudentExpo @BobcatsDiscover

These salamanders have a very small range, living only in parts of Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, & Tennessee, but they are genetically very different! I am asking whether these differences make them different species #OUStudentExpo @BobcatsDiscover

I also look at how gene flow between different groups may inhibit their ability to expand their small range using ddRAD data. I’ll have a few papers coming out this year answering these questions, so stay tuned! #OUStudentExpo @BobcatsDiscover

Hey Ginny & Georgia, 2010 called and it wants its lazy, deeply sexist joke back. How about we stop degrading hard working women by defining this horse shit as FuNnY. Also, @netflix after Miss Americana this outfit doesn’t look cute on you 💔 Happy Women’s History Month I guess
