Excited to share our new preprint on bridging basic & applied approaches in motor learning 🧠⛳️ These traditions are currently separated in terms of ideas, methods & communities. We argue that integration could move the field forward by connecting complementary perspectives on how humans learn and optimize movement. 📄 Preprint: osf.io/preprints/psyarxiv/mb… 📊 Citation map: alfredohernandezinostroza.gi… 💻 Data & code: github.com/alfredohernandezi…

4. Culture Lastly, bridging basic & applied motor learning isn’t just intellectual, it’s also cultural. Basic & applied motor learning often live in different worlds: 🔹 different labs 🔹 different conferences 🔹 different departments These separations might limit exchange. Joint projects, workshops & interdisciplinary training could help bring the fields together.
