Charlie Kirk wasnāt a perfect man, none of us are. But his faith in Jesus propelled him forward. That doesnāt mean every action was flawless, but his heart was after God. Pastors shouldnāt be afraid to speak about his death, he was a brother in Christ!! Public voices like sports teams, secular businesses and media outlets have honored him. How much more should the church of Christ? It can be a teaching moment and call for us to be more loving as Christians, the ones who say they know Jesus but many times don't show the love that he did and commanded us to. Ultimately, as Christians, we canāt let fear of losing followers silence us. Paul said, "Am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God?" Galatians 1:10. We are called to love, to speak truth, and to press on - no matter the cost. With that said, I hope cost is not your motivation
@stevenfurtick ... I sure hope losing some of your 10% tithes was not a factor in your decision to stay silent today.

PS: Church goers should really hold their churches accountable when it comes to their finances. No way Jesus would be proud of hoarding money and only using 12% of it for the community in pain.
