It was an honor to welcome the U.S. Consul General Brian Heath to Frankfurt International School! This visit underscored the unique and valuable relationship FIS holds with the diplomatic corps in Germany. @FIS_School
Our FISW students got splashed with color, and showed incredible teamwork and perseverance. Thanks to the PTG and PE department, this event was a huge success, with all proceeds going toward future community-building activities. #ToughColorRun#CommunityStrong#DesignedToTHRIVE
Happy World #PeaceDay from FIS!
Students across all age groups joined forces in celebration of United Nations' (UN) International Day of Peace. Together, we’re building a more peaceful future, one act of kindness at a time 🕊️
Last Sunday’s hike down the Feldberg was a fantastic way to bring together returning and new school families! With sunny skies and perfect weather, we enjoyed a beautiful day outdoors, surrounded by nature. It was the perfect mix of fresh air, fun, and community bonding.

Gave my Grade 2 students at @FIS_School 20 minutes to create something related to the ocean out of #Lego, and they built this awesome crab! So impressed with their creativity! 🦀 ❤️ @firstlegoleague#SUBMERGED
Rain or shine, our FISW campus Welcome BBQ was a big hit! Despite the weather, our amazing community came together for great food, fun, and fantastic memories. A huge thank you to everyone who made it possible! Besides: Nothing like bad weather in Germany 😉 #DesignedtoThrive
Over the summer a group of students went to the Kalahari desert to make a difference, which is a long standing tradition at FIS. Find out more here: kalahariexperience.org/
What does it mean to "identify" with a language? It's about feeling a connection to a language—maybe you lived in a country where it was spoken, or you have a family member who spoke it. You don’t have to be fluent in the language to feel that bond. Watch this grow @FIS_School
It was Enrichment Week for grades 6-12, an opportunity for experiential learning, personal growth, and skill development outside the traditional classroom environment. #enrichment#ibeducation
Yesterday our Team FIS colleagues participated in the Oberurseler Werkstätten "Zimmersmühlenlauf" charity run. We love to be part of our local community and promote an inclusive world where everyone belongs.
Big hearts come in small sizes. At FIS we care about each other and lend a helping hand when needed. Just a little reminder that we have plenty of new students on campus who may need a bit of support in their new environment. #kindness#newstart#togetherwegrow
