Lastly, The Mental Health Series. Don’t even know where to begin! We talked with lots of young people about anxiety, academic stress, eating disorders in college, and more. I also interviewed a psychologist, who provides lots of advice and explanation. open.spotify.com/episode/0TD…

“Everyone and their mothers will encounter rejection many times throughout their life...It’s a matter of how you respond — not how many you get." - Jamie Vinick
What started as a club at @SyracuseU developed into a successful & *national* org for young women: The Women's Network. But that’s not to say my episode guest, founder of @womensnetwork_ , doesn't face rejection. We all do! And we talk about it here: open.spotify.com/episode/7I8…

The word "networking" makes me nervous. But I did a podcast episode on it anyway! And it was a blast. In our latest episode, I interviewed Jamie Vinick, founder of The Women's Network. Listen here: open.spotify.com/episode/7I8…

In the episode, we talk about: learning from rejection, avoiding comparison in college, and more. And she also talks a bit about ~founder life.~ I was really curious to know what it's been like for her to lead a team during so much growth.

There's so much pressure to know exactly what you want to do and have your ducks in a row. I've often felt like I was floating sometimes because I didn't always know. But that's ok!! This is something we touch on in the episode. Give it a listen :) open.spotify.com/episode/7I8…
My SSOL portal officially says that I'm no longer a Columbia student. Idk how to feel about this!!! Graduating college is weird

“I think strong mental health is also about letting yourself feel...negative emotions...and knowing that that’s ok.” My favorite quote from Dr. Michael Vanderlind, who came on the pod to chat about mental health with me. Available now!🥳 open.spotify.com/episode/2mC…
Our latest episode is out now! I interviewed a psychologist, Dr. Michael Vanderlind, about everything from anxiety management to sleep hygiene. In the episode, you’ll also hear two young people share their journeys of navigating anxiety. Listen here: open.spotify.com/episode/2mC…

Hello! It’s Shelby, one of FIO’s marketing interns! Internship season is approaching💆‍♀️ So I’m here to talk about the pomodoro technique that I use for working. if you haven’t heard of it, it’s a time management tool where you break your task into intervals with breaks in between.

the best part about pomodoro is that it requires little effort to make this change. and it costs nothing to try out! I tend to just use my phone or watch timer, but there are so many good apps made specifically for pomodoro, such as: pomofocus.io/
