After more than 40 years of serving fajitas, queso and margaritas, On the Border is saying "Adios," shutting down all remaining company-owned restaurants nationwide. The Dallas-founded Tex-Mex chain says the move comes after years of declining customer traffic, rising costs and a 2025 bankruptcy filing. In a statement, the company called it “an incredibly tough decision” and thanked guests and employees who supported the brand over the decades. Now, the new ownership group says it’s evaluating the future of the On the Border name and exploring what comes next.

McDonald’s is bringing back a fan favorite that’s been gone for more than 30 years. The fast-food giant announced Tuesday that its classic fried apple pie is returning to most U.S. locations starting June 23 as part of America’s 250th birthday celebration. McDonald’s swapped the original fried version for a baked pie decades ago, but now the crispy, deep-fried dessert is making a limited-time comeback. It joins a growing list of patriotic menu items as fast-food chains roll out red, white and blue-themed treats ahead of the nation’s semiquincentennial.

Pizza Hut is changing hands after years of slowing sales. Yum Brands says it will sell the pizza chain in a $2.7 billion deal, splitting the business between Yum China and private equity firm LongRange Capital. The move comes after several quarters of declining sales, as pizza chains face tighter consumer spending, higher costs, and growing competition for customers' dollars. Now one of the world's most recognizable restaurant brands is getting a fresh shot at a turnaround.

NEW: VP JD Vance calls out media "propagandists" for their comments surrounding the Iran agreement, accusing critics of amplifying Iranian talking points while ignoring what's actually in the deal. "Not a single cent of American money goes to Iran. Not $300 billion, not $24 billion." Vance accuses media figures and critics of focusing on hypothetical benefits Iran could receive while glossing over the deal's central requirement: a long-term, verifiable commitment to never obtain a nuclear weapon. "The propagandists are saying, here are all the things Iran gets... but they don't get any of that stuff unless they totally transform themselves as a country."

BREAKING: President Trump vows to hold a press conference to read the full memorandum of understanding with Iran word-by-word to make sure the media covers it fairly. "I will actually not only release it, I'll probably have a press conference and read it to you word-by-word, so that the press covers it accurately, because it's, it's a very important document." "And, unlike Obama, who could have destroyed the Middle East with a horrible JCPoA, it is the worst agreement that was a road to a nuclear weapon. Mine is a wall against a nuclear weapon."

A graduation celebration quickly turned into a protest. Stanford graduates walked out during Google CEO Sundar Pichai's commencement speech. "Free Palestine" chants and boos were heard, and Palestinian flags were visible throughout the demonstration. The protest was likely aimed at Google's business ties with the Israeli government, including the company's partnership with Israel's Project Nimbus cloud-computing contract, an issue that has fueled campus activism at Stanford for years. Pichai did not appear to respond to the protest and continued delivering his remarks as demonstrators exited the ceremony.
