All done, coming to all future versions including Neo Geo ✅ As runs are not 1:1 comparable, hi-scores will simply not be recorded in this mode. MVS operators can toggle course selection mode via a SOFT DIP while AES players can do so via the options menu. ☺️
Time to resume work on the course selection mode, so players can choose their own order for the first four levels, plus have an easier time to practice certain stages. Still need to make things more clear which planet is selected and figure out to handle this in the hi-score data.

I might still add that this option is becoming available once a player went through the non custom stage order.
