Father Matt Carnes, S.J., Vice Dean for Faculty and Graduate Affairs School of Foreign Service, and Ryan Arey, Director of Admissions, traveled to the UK last week and enjoyed meeting with students and applicants at @UniofOxford, @LSEnews, and @ucl!
This semester, our own Julika Enslin and Antonia Baskakov organized a MSFS visit to the German Embassy here in Washington DC. The heads of the political, economic and military departments within the Embassy spoke about their work and current priorities.
Delighted to teach this semester at @Georgetown to graduate students @georgetownmsfs with a course on international diplomatic negotiation. Nice to be back in DC where I served as a senior diplomat at the end of the 1990s!

Originally from Philadelphia, Aqueelah Johnson joined the Foreign Service through the Charles B. Rangel fellowship program and has served in the State Department since 2009. Aqueelah specializes in Southeast Asia having served multiple posts and roles in the EAP Bureau. (1/3)
On the sidelines of International Womenâs Day, Georgetown Women in International Affairs, consisting of MSFS students, organized a panel discussion with women leading transformative change for gender equality in international affairs.
The attendees interacted with the activists' panel on how women can break the glass ceiling, advocate for their values and beliefs, and pursue dynamic careers in international affairs.
MSFS student Ms. Mallika Iyer, President of GWIA, moderated the panel.
