Digital marketing struggles to achieve past performance due to Apple's cookie restrictions and privacy regulations. The crypto ad market is limited to restricted marketing channels and content. Moreover, the unique nature of on-chain activities in Web3 makes analytics tools a distant dream.
CryptoPulse is a product designed to address these issues, collecting crypto users' web activity and on-chain data via a Chrome extension. Users earn additional income by providing data, while advertisers can leverage this data for targeted ads.
What does CryptoPulse aim to achieve?
- Tracking Real Narratives
One recent marketing trend, known as the "airdrop meta," has shifted from stealth airdrops to forcing tweets or rewarding users with high contributions (e.g., staking or fees), creating artificial hype that clouds investors' judgment. Incentive-driven communities often collapse like sandcastles after the incentives end. But what if rewards came without forced actions? CryptoPulse lets users enjoy their crypto life—swapping, web surfing, and researching—as usual, earning rewards naturally. This provides individual data insights and aggregates user data to offer missed events or new products via CryptoPulse.
- Offering New Exposure Opportunities for Builders
Having developed multiple products and worked with startups and established teams, I’ve seen marketing as a common operational challenge. Crypto still feels distant to the general public, and advertising faces similar barriers. Typical crypto marketing relies on KOL influencer channels, but tracking performance is difficult, and budgets often exceed Web2 influencer marketing by 2 to 10 times. Gaining approval for ads on Meta, Google, or X is also tough. However, what if users voluntarily share data for tailored ads matching their interests in NFT, DeFi, or trading? CryptoPulse enables ads based on user habits, frequency, staking amounts, and even re-engages lapsed users.
- Building Diverse BM and a Sustainable Ecosystem
CryptoPulse’s revenue model extends beyond Web3. Unlike traditional buyback models that struggled due to limited Web3 demand, we tap into significant Web2 demand. We diversify income through data sales and labeling, while creating a sustainable ecosystem with:
- Providing tailored data sets to advertisers and individuals based on web/on-chain activity, boosting revenue and partner loyalty.
- A subscription model offering custom ads and advanced targeting options.
- Continuous token price support via buybacks to encourage sustained data collection.
- Affiliate marketing programs partnering with crypto projects or Web2 brands for commission revenue and user base growth.
