🔴Dismasting of the @GoodchildSam's sailboat VULNERABLE 5:15 PM today, while he was in fourth position in the New York Vendée - Les Sables d'Olonne race, the sailboat VULNERABLE, skippered by the British sailor Sam Goodchild, dis-masted. Sam is fine and is securing his boat. He is 150 miles from the island of Santa Maria in the Azores. Sam and his technical team, TR Racing, are currently studying the best solutions to bring the IMOCA safely to port. More information to follow. 👉Learn more: newyorkvendee.org/article/de…

🔴 Démâtage du voilier VULNERABLE de @GoodchildSam 17h15 ce jour, alors qu’il était en quatrième position de la New York Vendée - Les Sables d'Olonne, le voilier VULNERABLE, mené par le skipper britannique Sam Goodchild, a démâté. Sam va bien et range son bateau. Il évolue à 150 milles de l’île de Santa Maria aux Açores. Sam et son équipe technique TR Racing sont actuellement en train d’étudier les meilleures solutions pour ramener l’IMOCA à bon port.

NY was amazing! Now it's RACE TIME: departure tomorrow. NY-Vendée💥 My aim is to use this race, not quite as a dry run for the @VendeeGlobe but to feel as comfortable as possible so the next time I go for a big offshore – which will be the VG – everything is as prepared as can be
