Tyce Curtis had a solid showing in front of dozens of college coaches for Wheeler this afternoon. Curtis is a guard with good size who makes plays when the ball is in his hands. He operated well in the PnR, making just about every pass you want to see from a lead guard. Curtis’ ability to play with pace and burst downhill made him hard to contain in PnR actions. Another thing that stood out was his willingness to defend and cause havoc for opposing ball handlers. @hoopseen @GBCALive

Butler HS always seems to have a stud guard come through, and De’Croi Fleming looks like he’s next up. The 6’4 lengthy guard made plays all over the floor. He created offense by scoring off the bounce, finding teammates on drives, and putting together an efficient 21-point outing. His length and athleticism helped him get into passing lanes on the defensive end, where he stayed active throughout the game. Fleming is a big guard with a nice change of pace who should gain traction on the recruiting trail soon. @hoopseen @GBCALive

6’10 | ‘28 | Tenaje Freeman might be one of the top rim protectors in the state with his combination of length, athleticism, and mobility. Freeman’s motor at 6’10 is impressive, and it pairs well with his mentality of dunking everything around the basket. @hoopseen @GBCALive

6’6 G/W Frashad Tisby has taken over the on-ball duties for Cross Creek as he enters his senior year, and he’s looked good doing it so far here at @GBCALIVE. Tisby is a lights-out shooter with real versatility at 6’6, as he can play both on and off the ball. He looked really comfortable today as Cross Creek’s primary ball handler. At 6’6, he also possesses the mobility to guard positions 1-4. @hoopseen @iam_frashad

6’6 | ‘27 | Jarvis Hayes is just special. You won’t find many players with the natural scoring ability he possesses. His ability to knock down tough shots, elite athleticism, and passion for the game are things that can’t be taught. The wiggle he plays with and his explosiveness make it really hard for defenders to contain him. Hayes finished with 22 points and knocked down four threes in Woodward’s win. @hoopseen @GBCALive @JarvisHayesjr

6’5 | ‘28 | Myles Hayes impacts the game in a variety of ways with his explosiveness and ability to score from all three levels. The long guard did a good job of getting to his spots and knocking down shots while making the game look easy. His quick twitch allows him to get downhill at will, where he can finish above the rim. Today, I thought he also did a solid job of getting paint touches and finding teammates for easy buckets. Special guard in the 2028 class. @hoopseen @GBCALive @hooraymyles

Cameron Cannon can score the ball with the best of them, and he’s done a good job of that this weekend. There’s not a shot on the floor that the Lovett guard doesn’t like, and that’s okay because he knocks them down. Cannon’s shiftiness and pace keep defenders off balance, and his ability to stop on a dime and knock down shots sums up why he’s such a good scorer. He also did a solid job of keeping his group engaged today with some nice reads when the ball was in his hands. @hoopseen @GBCALive

‘27 Justin Wise out of North Oconee knocked down four threes en route to 10 points in their win this afternoon. Wise is known as one of, if not the best, off-the-bounce scorers in the state because of his ability to knock down tough shots and shots with deep range, and he showed that again today in front of a sideline full of coaches. Wise was also active on the defensive end, racking up a couple of blocks on guards who tried attacking him. It was another solid performance from the highly touted lead guard. @GBCALive @hoopseen

Jaidyn Taylor delivered one of the night’s top performances for North Cobb, finishing with 18 PTS, 10 REB, 4 AST, 3 STL, and 2 BLK in a back‑and‑forth battle with Hillgrove. A true do‑it‑all forward, she impacted the game in multiple ways, showing her ability to playmake from both the post and the perimeter. She also showcased her defensive versatility, switching onto guards and providing steady interior protection. @JTayhoops44 #ClaimTheCrownW

The backcourt of ZaKyra Phillips and Maleah Sims helped lead Hillgrove to a 2‑0 night at Claim the Crown. Phillips averaged 12PTS 6AST 4STL through two games and was electric on both sides of the floor. She impacted the game by picking up full court and providing constant defensive effort. Sims averaged 9PTS 5AST 5STL and matched that defensive intensity with her quickness, helping control the offense and leading her teammates to quality looks. #ClaimTheCrownW

After being around the college game at Kennesaw State the last 3 seasons, I believe 2027 G Kurston “Kurt” Curry is a college-level guard who deserves serious attention. @Certifiedkurt1 • 2025 8AA Player of the Year • 2025 GBCA/GACA AA All-State selection • 2026 8AA All-Region selection • Missed 2026 8AA Player of the Year by one vote • 2026 GBCA/GACA All-State selection • Fastest player in Hart County history to reach 1,000 career points Kurt is on pace to become Hart County’s (GA) all-time leading scorer. That record is currently held by Spudd Webb, who went on to play at Georgia Southern and earn Sun Belt All-Tournament Team honors this past season. Unbelievable player, person, and student. Whoever gets Kurt will be adding the type of character, toughness, and work ethic every program wants in its locker room. Coaches, my DMs are open for any questions or additional information on Kurt. ‘27 | 6’7 | F | Byron Lee might be one of the biggest stock risers over the next few weekends as college coaches hit the road. Lee is a 6’7 forward with a good motor, and you can see the dawg in him every time he steps on the floor. He’s a reliable lob threat, rebounds at a high level, and isn’t afraid to put the ball on the floor and make a play. Defensively, he’s agile enough to protect the rim while also switching onto smaller guards and holding his own on the perimeter. Lee is a prospect that a lot of mid-major coaches should make a point to see over the next few weekends. @hoopseen @GBCALive

5⭐️ Class of 2029 prospect Austin Leonard had a good showing in front of a sideline loaded with college coaches. Leonard’s game is so mature, and so is his frame. He does a good job of taking advantage of mismatches when attacking smaller defenders and getting downhill. He can shoot the lights out of the ball, and he just doesn’t make many of the mistakes you typically see from young players. He plays with a strong feel for the game and consistently makes the right decisions. Leonard is a high-level talent with a high ceiling, and you can tell that being highly touted at an early age hasn’t stunted his development at all. @hoopseen @GBCALive

High-major talent was on display this evening as a loaded Grayson squad dominated GAC. MJ Curry looked every bit the part of a star in his return to the Grayson system, consistently knocking down jumpers, creating offense off the bounce, and showcasing his explosive athleticism throughout the game. He finished with 21 points in the win and was a major factor in Grayson’s dominant performance with a plethora of high major coaches in attendance. @hoopseen @GBCALive
