A draft neurodiversity policy was presented to the BVSD Board on June 11. If approved, it will be among the first of its kind, focusing on empowering students, supporting identity-affirming strategies, and partnering with parents and students. Learn more: trst.in/gkUq7b

BVSD takes step toward 'groundbreaking' neurodiversity policy

The policy, potentially the first of its kind in the nation, aims to introduce new approaches to educating neurodiverse students. Currently, it’s a value statement with details still being developed.
