The Irving Police Department is asking for the community’s help in locating Julie Hello, 66, who was last seen around 3:00 P.M. today, in the 700 block of Lake Carolyn Parkway.
If you have any information about her whereabouts, please contact the Irving Police Department at (972) 273-1010 or dial 911 immediately.

**UPDATE 3:00 am: The Silver Alert issued by the Irving Police Department has been canceled. Julie Hello has been safely located and is being reunited with her family.
We appreciate everyone who shared the information and helped spread the word.

We are currently working a multi vehicle major accident in the eastbound lanes of SH 183. All eastbound lanes are closed and traffic is being diverted to the Story Road exit.
Please avoid the area as the investigation continues.

Another successful Junior Police Academy is in the books! 🚔👮♀️👮♂️
Over the past week, participants had the opportunity to learn firsthand about the many units that make up our department. From K-9 to Crime Scene, Bomb Squad to SWAT, these future leaders gained valuable insight into the work our officers and staff do every day to keep our community safe.

The FAA has issued a Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) through July 21st, 2026. Please see the map for the affected areas.
During the active TFR, unauthorized drone operations are prohibited within the restricted airspace. All drone pilots are responsible for complying with applicable FAA regulations and NOTAMs before flight operations. Violations of a TFR are investigated by the FAA and may result in civil penalties, certificate action, or other enforcement measures.
We encourage all operators to verify airspace restrictions and comply with FAA regulations before conducting any flight operations (see the FAA Link below).
