Reported today that the reds are interested in signing out of contract midfielder Ossama Ashley.
Ashley hasn’t played as much as he would have liked too last season but when played has looked good, Ashley earned salfords player of the season back in the 24/25 season.
Profile wise this looks like a very good signing especially on a free and is exactly what we should look for however availability wise it does look concerning if we pull this off and keep him fit this would be a good signing.

One we would personally like to take a gamble at is Defender
Stephan Negru
The 23 year old hasn’t had the greatest of luck when it comes to playing for his former parent club Oxford, with the defender only playing 21 games since joining in the 2023 winter window and has had 3 loan spells since being at the club.
All 3 loan spells being in league two and the standout probably being Salford in the 24/25 season playing a total of 30 league games for the play off chasing side that season.
Fans at Oxford wanted to see more of Negru but he never got the chance too similar to Cleary maybe we could be the club to take a punt on a player like this and reap the rewards of it as we get into the season.

More one to take a punt on but has been subject of interest from numbers of clubs in the EFL with the forward getting 8 goals and 12 assists for Chelmsford last season despite only being 22 with obvious room to grow into a great player.

Everton have confirmed that Jacob Beaumont-Clark, Kingsford Boakye, Roman Dixon, Bradley Moonan, Francis Okoronkwo, Tyler Onyango and Reece Welch will leave Everton when their contracts expire at the end of this month.
