A month ago, Manitoba Conservative MPs asked Minister Chartrand, the Minister responsible for Northern and Arctic Affairs, for a briefing on the Churchill Plus Project. We are still waiting for a reply. Churchill has huge potential, but so far this project is little more than a title. If the Liberals are serious about Churchill, they should prove it. Time to show their work.

The Secretary of State responsible for Canada’s latest extra layer of bureaucracy, the Defence Investment Agency, appeared before the Defence Committee today/yesterday. This agency will give a Liberal politician the power to take over corporations, buy shares, replace board and executive members. Publicly traded companies and privately owned businesses are now vulnerable to government hostile takeovers. This is Liberal corruption on full display.

Last week, the Liberals announced Canada's acquisition of the Saab GlobalEye, but when the Secretary of State for procurement came to the Defence Committee today, he told us that no contract had been signed. When I tried to get clarity on the government’s procurement plan and timeline, his Liberal colleagues said that my questions were too “in the weeds”. Asking about a multi-billion-dollar procurement isn't "in the weeds." It's our job. Our forces and taxpayers deserve answers.

Liberal MP @DougEyolfson has been caught lying to constituents about the health committee's work on the $300 MILLION PrescribeIT scandal. Eyolfson claimed on social media that the PrescribeIT study "will be done" and that the Health Minister "has been asked to appear." Neither is true. The health committee never passed a motion to fully "study" the $300 MILLION PrescribeIT program. It also never passed a motion to invite the health minister either. In fact, on May 5, 2026, @DougEyolfson moved to adjourn the committee in the middle of a debate on a motion to invite the health minister, abruptly shutting down the meeting before any vote could be held. As such the meeting was abruptly ended. Check the minutes if you want proof. Canadians deserve answers on the Liberal's $300 MILLION PrescribeIT scandal. Conservatives will not stop until we get them.

Carney’s “technical” recession. With the 2nd-highest unemployment in the G7, are people just “technically” unemployed? With the worst food inflation in the G7, are people just “technically” hungry? With the biggest household debt in the G7, are people just “technically" out of money?

Canada needs a strong sanctions regime to ensure our country does not become a safe haven for dictators, authoritarian regimes, and their families. Thank you @vkaramurza @Billbrowder and @kolga for appearing before the committee and sharing your valuable feedback on my bill.

The MOU between the Liberal gov’t & the PRC’s Ministry of Public Security remains secret. Beijing abused the previous MOU with the Harper gov’t, including coercing at least 25 Canadians to return to the PRC under Operation Fox Hunt. The new MOU needs to be released. #cdnpoli

Today Mark Carney announced he would start talking to SAAB about AEW&C planes. Nothing more. No contract. No costing. No delivery date. Worse, it is neither a sole source or a competition. We don’t get the speed of a sole source, but we get the headaches and litigation. This is much ado about nothing!

Defence experts appearing before the committee couldn’t be clearer: we need to expedite our defence procurement process. It doesn’t take much, just the political will to cut the bureaucracy and get equipment to our troops. Unfortunately, the Carney government appears to lack the will to do it.

Your tax dollars were used by the CBC to target, harass, and humiliate retired RCMP officers. This is a new low. The CBC must answer how this was allowed to happen, and apologize to the retired officers they involved.

RCMP Members and Veterans were intentionally tricked into critical and humiliating interviews for a taxpayer-funded CBC/APTN production. We are calling for an immediate halt and a full inquiry into how this was approved, funded, and executed. Read our full release: npf-fpn.com/news-item/rcmp-m…

BREAKING: The failed drug experiment is coming to Manitoba. The NDP are opening a drug consumption site in Winnipeg while provinces across Canada shut these failed sites down. These sites are magnets for drugs and disorder. Approving a place for people to consume drugs is the easiest thing a politician can do. It avoids the difficult, serious, expensive work of building real treatment and real recovery pathways. Instead, they keep people addicted and cycling through the same revolving door of drug enablement. And as long as they are doing that, politicians never actually have to solve anything. Real compassion means treatment and recovery. It does not mean opening government-sanctioned drug sites in communities and leaving families to deal with the disorder, needles, and open drug use. The left-wing politicians pushing this drug site will not live next door to it, so they don't care. When this site is opened, it will not be the end. It will be this site first, then the next one, then another. Then the conversation shifts to government-funded safe supply, where taxpayers are buying the drugs outright. And then the proposal becomes decriminalization, where there are no consequences for possession of any hard drugs. That’s exactly the road the NDP government in British Columbia went down, and British Columbia is now a failed experiment that the rest of Canada is desperately trying to avoid. Real compassion means fighting for recovery, not enabling the next hit. It is important to note that every single supervised drug consumption site in Canada exists because the federal government provided a legal exemption through the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. The federal Health Minister directly approves consumption sites through Section 56.1 and authorizes provinces to approve sites through a class exemption granted under Subsection 56(1). Without the Liberal government's approval, these sites are not allowed to exist.

My comments yesterday before this article came out are uncanny given today’s headline. This is a joke - rhetoric: meet reality. theglobeandmail.com/politics…
Once again, the Liberal government are peddling illusions with splashy announcements and big claims to one day, decades in the future, do something. Instead of fixing defence procurement, the Liberals continue to add unnecessary layers of bureaucracy with their Defence Investment Agency. The latest capability and acquisition audit found that our women and men in uniform need to wait between 9 and 27 years to get the equipment they need to defend Canada, and once they do it is often out of date. Conservatives are calling on the government to get the equipment and infrastructure our sailors, soldiers, and aviators need quickly so they can do the important work we ask of them.” financialpost.com/fp-finance…

It is utterly disappointing that the Carney Liberals are giving up on the Snowbirds, destroying a symbol of our national pride which for more than 50 years showcased Canadian military excellence. The Liberals should be doing everything possible to make up for the decade they just wasted, keep the Snowbirds in the air through 2030, and make sure that they have replacement jets by that date.

Falun Dafa practitioners have faced decades of repression, intimidation, and persecution at the hands of the Chinese Communist Party, including the atrocities of forced organ harvesting and execution. It was an honour to speak at the Falun Dafa demonstration on Parliament Hill a few weeks ago. I will always stand firmly against transnational repression and defend the freedoms and safety of all Canadians. Check out my speech here.

Last week in the House of Commons, I presented petition e-451 calling on the government to reverse the closure of key agriculture research stations across Canada and reinstate the more than 665 researchers and scientists whose positions were cut. Canadian agriculture depends on world-class research. Farmers, producers, and consumers deserve a government that invests in science, innovation, and the future of our food system.
