An Orange County man, Paul Richard Randall, 66, of Orange, has pleaded guilty to submitting nearly $270 million in fraudulent claims over an 11-month span to Medi-Cal for expensive prescription drugs containing generic ingredients that were not medically necessary and, in many instances, not provided to the purported recipients. Randall peaded guilty Monday to one count of wire fraud committed while on release. He has been in federal custody since June 2025.

For now, I am assuming that the LiDAR vehicle sighting in Enola, Pennsylvania on 11/17 has more to do with FSD testing than an imminent Robotaxi rollout in PA. I could be entirely wrong, of course. It just seems odd for the sighting to be 110 miles from Philadelphia. It also seems seems odd that Tesla would already be LiDAR testing rural Pennsylvania when they have not yet advertised for any vehicle operators in that state. It doesn't seem to fit their roll-out pattern. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So how do we know where the next depots will be? The current SF Robotaxi fleet appears to operate out of the Palo Alto Service Center, the San Francisco Service Center, and the Fremont factory. The Austin fleet seems to operate in or near Austin Service Center-South. So, it is reasonable to expect existing Tesla delivery service centers to be the sites of Robotaxi depots for the near future, as they tend to have large parking lots, private superchargers, and fulfill all of the requirements of a depot. There are currently nine cities advertising for Robotaxi fleet support jobs: Austin, Dallas, Houston, Tempe, Las Vegas, Miami, Tampa, Palo Alto, and San Francisco. The future is coming… 🧵(6/6)
