I begin every day by reading Lawfare in these troubled time when the Constitution and Rule of Law are under vicious attack by our own United States Government. I am honored to continue supporting Lawfare, as anyone concerned for the Rule of Law would be.
Two weeks in, and we've made real progress toward our goal! Thanks to everyone who’s stepped up so far!
But there's still more to do. Join the campaign at lawfaremedia.org/support
Our friends, Ben Wittes, Roger Parloff, Anna Bower, and their expert colleagues at Lawfare are making a difference every single day, giving us all hope that, in the end,
it will be the law that prevails over the venally corrupt politics of our times, not the corrupt politics of our times that prevails over the law.
Thank you, Lawfare!

These who have surrendered their right of the free press have proven their allegiance to the President, but they have betrayed their allegiance to America.
Our nation’s democratic system functioned last night and we have a new President-elect. All Americans are bound, whether we like the outcome or not, to accept the results of our elections. We now have a special responsibility, as citizens of the greatest nation on earth, to do everything we can to support and defend our Constitution, preserve the rule of law, and ensure that our institutions hold over these coming four years. Citizens across this country, our courts, members of the press and those serving in our federal, state and local governments must now be the guardrails of democracy.
On this Election Day 2024, in a letter organized by the American Bar Association’s Task Force for American Democracy, 125 current and past presidents of the nation’s state, local, and national bar associations put lawyers on notice of their professional obligations
Lawyers are guardians of our Democracy and Rule of Law. They are uniquely qualified and uniquely obligated to preserve, protect, and defend America’s Democracy, Constitution, and Rule of Law.
