Seeing the sheer potential within these walls was a powerful reminder: the barriers to entry for manufacturing—capital, equipment, specialized technology—are being dismantled by institutions like this. ​From exploring textile innovation and food production technologies to seeing the precision of sanitary pad manufacturing machines, I was struck by the possibilities for the next generation of women entrepreneurs. ​Manufacturing is the backbone of our economy, but it requires intentionality. It requires us to show up, to learn the systems, and to advocate for shared infrastructure that allows small businesses to scale.
