To all the people I’ve annoyingly and repeatedly interrupted, THIS!! 🙏🏼😂
The most dangerous part of an ADHD conversation is having a thought and waiting your turn.
Because the moment someone else starts talking, your brain quietly places that thought on a shelf labeled "Important- Don't Forget."
Then another person speaks.
And another.
Now your thought has been moved to a different shelf.
Then someone uses a word that reminds you of a movie, which reminds you of a song, which reminds you that you forgot to pay a bill three weeks ago.
By the time it's finally your turn to speak, you're sitting there like:
"I had something really important to say..."
five seconds of intense concentration
"...never mind."
Then, at 2:17 a.m., while staring at the ceiling, the thought returns in perfect detail as if it never left.
Unfortunately, the conversation ended three days ago. 😅
