Happy Mother’s Day to all the Moms! Fun Mother’s Day brunch with the kids and flowers. They do make me laugh.

I’m challenging this one - unfortunately there’s no one to complain to 🤔. That’s what X is for.

Of course it’s $URI (on the way to the studio) Beat and raise is so much more fun than miss and lower

So much fun to be at the Devil Wears Prada 2 Premiere with my daughter Kate. And I couldn’t be more proud of my talented sister Wendy Finerman - producer of DWP2 and DWP-and so many other great movies.

Quite a week. I do feel a surprisingly big sense of accomplishment though, because I did manage to take something to the tailor for alterations.

I always wonder why when the game is so obv far out of reach with very little time left, the coaches don’t put in players who didn’t get a chance to play. Just to have had the experience. They can always put the first string back in. Many may never be in the Super Bowl again.

Once again it’s time to revisit the year, what worked, what didn’t. Given that I’m always long and a rising tide lifts all boats, this was a very good year. Let’s start with the winners because they are so much more fun than the losers. I’ll get to those, I promise. Oh & here is a photo of Jesse from our annual New Year’s Day walk.

They announced a good Q in Dec and the stock closed the year up 90% from its lows the day before earnings. Too aggressive too early. Terrible, terrible position management on my part. I made some money but it could have been a home run.

Overall, I felt pretty good but the ones that don’t work out stick out to me the most. The only question now, what do we do from here? I don’t turn over the portfolio because the calendar changed. All I can do is try to be better this year. Wishing you health and happiness!
